Calling Your Senator

The current threats on our basic freedoms, moral compass, and public health and safety are unlikely to abate and we want our advocates to be armed with the information they need to make a difference.

A lot has been said about what to do in this time when so many are feeling threatened. If you ask former Congressional staffers what is most effective, they say calls and in-person meetings. Emails still work and should be part of our efforts, but inundating an office with calls or bodies has an out-sized effect. Finally, the Washington office tends to get the most calls on many issues from many people outside their state or district. So our strategy is to call district offices that will absolutely relay your message to D.C.. The more calls they get from local folks, the more likely they are to push for action. Please call the district office closest to you.

We’ll continue to update this information as we go and are working on a page for all Congressional offices as well. Please write if you find any of the information to be wrong. Happy calling!
