The Northwest California Wilderness, Recreation, and Working Forests Act, the Central Coast Heritage Protection Act, and the San Gabriel Mountains Foothills and Rivers Protection Act each passed through committee for a second time known as a committee markup.
Each of these bills has taken a different path to reaching this point. But they move collectively showing that diverse groups from the redwoods of Humboldt to the urban areas of Los Angeles want to protect California’s public lands.
We’ve collected a few short videos for you to enjoy as each moved its way to the next step on its journey to eventual passage.
