Schilling Hard Cider’s Keep it Wild campaign is coming to the Golden State

April is only a few days away, which means it’s almost Earth Month. One way we’re celebrating is by partnering up with Schilling Hard Cider for their Keep it Wild initiative.

About Schilling Hard Cider

Schilling Hard Cider is based just outside of Seattle, Washington. Beyond crafting their deliciously smooth cider, they are passionate and committed to protecting the environment.

Keep it Wild initiative

The Keep it Wild initiative was launched last year in Oregon and Washington. The campaign spanned the month of April, where they donated 5% of sales from their Legendary Sasquatch-themed cider Local Legend and #1 seller Excelsior Imperial Apple. By doing so, they raised over $20,000 for organizations like Oregon Wild and Washington Wild. Both of these groups are dedicated to protecting wild lands and waters and are the equivalent to CalWild in their respective states. This year, Schilling is expanding the Keep It Wild initiative to eight states with the hopes of being able to give more and amplify the work of local grassroots movement organizations in each state.

We’re so excited to be partnering with Schilling Hard Cider for this initiative as it grows. Protecting California’s wild places is the center of what we do and being invited to join forces with such a proactive organization that supports that mission is incredibly helpful. We applaud their dedication to protecting wild lands and waters through advocacy, education, civic engagement – and good drinks.

How to participate

For the month of April, pick up a case or two of one of their two best-selling cider’s Local Legend and Excelsior Imperial Apple and 5% of the proceeds will be donated to CalWild.

If you happen to live in the Grass Valley, CA area, you can pick these two flavors up locally. If not, see where you can buy them online here.
