Proceeds from the event will support the Wild Rivers Project, which we launched in 2018 to designate 6,000 miles of Wild & Scenic Rivers in California by 2028. To make this happen we need to raise $50,000 this year; please consider joining as a monthly member or making a special gift today to sustain the only statewide group working on wild rivers in the state!

A River’s Last Chance is directed by Shane Anderson. Shane resides in Olympia, Wa and is the owner of North Fork Studios and the Director of Storytelling for Pacific Rivers a (501c3) non-profit river conservation organization based out of Portland Oregon. Shane’s interest in film and video began in 1998 while he was skiing professionally and featured in ski movies.

Shane has worked in collaboration with Patagonia, Trout Unlimited, Wild Steelhead Coalition, Wild Fish Conservancy, American Rivers and Pacific Rivers.
