CalWild has been collaborating with Congressman Jared Huffman on the reintroduction of the Northwest California Wilderness, Recreation, and Working Forests Act. This critical legislation has the power to expand many protected areas in northwest California. We are thrilled to announce that in May of this year, Congressman Huffman reintroduced this historic legislation. “This bill will protect and restore invaluable federal lands and waters. It’s time to get this critical measure signed into law at long last,” – Ryan Henson, CalWild’s Senior Policy Director
