CWC Resource Center

Founded in 1976, the California Wilderness Coalition serves as an information clearing house for California wilderness and wild lands. We publish a quarterly newsletter called the Wilderness Record, an annual Wilderness Guide, and groundbreaking reports ranging from a description of California's last unprotected wilderness to an assessment of threatened wildlife habitat and migration corridors. As a champion for the protection of California's last wild places, CWC's knowledge of on-the-ground conditions on federal public wild lands across the state is unparalleled.
