Save Jackson State Forest!
Dear Forest Supporter,
This could be the last time you need to take action to save Jackson State
Forest, our wonderful 50,000-acre publicly owned redwood forest!
We are on the verge of accomplishing the impossible!
It will take you less than a minute to send a letter to Governor
Schwarzenegger asking him to sign SB 1648, Senator Chesbro's bill to reform management
of our state forests:

YOUR LETTER IS CRUCIAL!
Obtaining the governor's signature is a huge challenge.
The California Department of Forestry has been making $10 million per year
profits from industrial logging of Jackson Forest and strongly opposes the reform bill.
Our incredibly ambitious goal is 5,000 letters by September 10.
It will take that amount of public outcry to get Schwarzenegger to go against his
own agency. Please help us make our goal.
Follow this link to get more information and send a letter of support to the governor.
It is easy, fast and critically important:

We've come this far against all odds because we are fighting for what is ours
and what is right -- preserving our own public redwood forest for future generations.
This is a fight that we can win. With your help, we will win!
Please forward this message to friends and family. We need every letter we can get.
Thank you for all of your help.
Yours truly,
Vince
